Provision of Material and Accreditation for RAF Safety Courses

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert interested Bidders of the opportunity.

Our Client, The Royal Air Force (RAF), need a supplier that will provide accreditation for a set of three Health and Safety Courses: Managing Safely (including course material), Risk Assessors and Manual Handling Instructional Techniques, which are delivered to Service and Civilian employees whose post training profile identifies the need for the training. These courses will be at NVQ level 2 or equivalent standard. The supplier shall be a nationally recognised body to ensure that recognised certification can be given.
Upon successful completion of the training, course delegates will be issued with certificates which have been supplied and accredited by the supplier. As the licensor and accreditor, the supplier will also ensure that the courses delivered by Specialist Training Squadron (STS) RAF Halton meet their requirements through a percentage audit of course delegate papers, and annual audits of the course training material. Supplier will annually review STS Trainers for Competence to teach at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.

We anticipate that the RFP documents will be available on 05/02/2020 and Bidders will be notified when these have been released.
