Prior Information Notice: PSGW01431 | Submarine Qualifying Course (SMQ) Future Training Study | MOD
Description
Knowledgepool is looking to appoint a provider to deliver a Submarine Qualifying Course (SMQ) Future Training Study to our client, Ministry of Defence.

This is a contract for a Training study to research and recommend the most cost-effective long term training solution for Submarine Qualifying Course in order to reduce training bottlenecks and facilitate manpower recovery to ensure the SQEP necessary for continued delivery of CASD into the Dreadnought-era.

The study will combine a Training Gap Analysis (TGA) and Training Options Analysis (TOA) which will consider how best to meet the requirements of the newly endorsed SMQ Role PS with a distinct bias towards reducing the dependency on training bunks at sea and making the maximum use of legacy training in order to deliver a new training course within 3 years.
It is intended to complete this study within FY 19/20.
